Launchmetrics, in Milan, is looking for a Junior Buyer will work part-time 30 hours/Week from Monday to Saturday to support the Global production Department in 2 main areas: Purchasing and Scanning.


Our ideal candidate will have to establish an Active communication with internal staff as well as external service providers, managing contact with global suppliers, keep track of international deliveries and manage expense reports of various freelancers and service providers, precision and attention to details, and efficiency in prompt problem solving

Job Description:

  • Daily checks of Expected Magazines scheduled in Production back-office software (MagazinesAssignment).
  • Assist Direct Manager for keeping track of magazine subscription expire date and subsequent renewals.
  • Communicate with various external suppliers of publication subscriptions, both online and off-line entities.
  • Provide necessary support to various service providers and keep track of all required issues of print publications to be purchased from local newsstands and promptly delivered to Milan office through international shipping.
  • Check proper filing of expense reports on publication purchasing from said service providers.
  • Provide support to Scan Department staff located in Milan, New York, London, Berlin, Barcelona, Paris and Hong Kong, to keep track of magazines being acquired and scanned. The goal is to ensure the lists of magazines to acquire from local newsstands by said SD staff are respected.
  • Support for prompt problem solving, such as locating and acquiring lost publication issues through on-line/off-line purchasing and reestablishing contact with non-responsive suppliers.
  • Support for research and purchase of new print publication titles requested internally by global LM Sales Teams, Customer Success Teams, and Global Business Strategy Team.
  • Scanning and uploading of 3-weekend supplement publications of top newspapers, in Milan office.


  • Fluent English and Good Italian 
  • Good Knowledge of MS-Office 
  • 1-2 years of experience in Admin/Accounting or Purchasing Department 
  • Proactive and fast learner
  • Focus on details and very precise 

Salary Range: 15-17k RAL
